- Call for abstracts is now open!
We are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the IALE 2025 European Landscape Ecology Congress. The call is open for all researchers, policy makers and practitioners with a special interest in landscape ecology at address: https://iale2025.sav.sk/call-for-abstracts/. The abstract could be proposed to 39 sessions and workshops that cover broad range of topics related to four main themes of the congress. The deadline for abstract submission is 28 February 2025.
- Call for sessions concluded
We would like to inform you that the call for sessions for the upcoming congress has officially concluded. The Scientific Committee will now begin a thorough review of all submitted proposals, assessing their scientific quality and relevance. Upon completing the evaluation, formal notifications regarding session acceptance will be sent to the respective submitters. We appreciate the time and effort invested in these submissions, as they are key to the success of the congress.

Dear participants, we are glad to announce that the call for sessions has now been opened. The proposal can be submited by filling up a form on following link, or through our website menu under Important information. The deadline for session proposals is 30th september 2024. The organizing comittee is looking forward for all the session proposals.
- Preparatory meeting for the European IALE Congress 2025
On April 4th and 5th, the inaugural preparatory meeting for the IALE 2025 European Congress was convened by both the Institute of Landscape Ecology, Slovak Academy of Sciences, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava. The organizing committee and key representatives from IALE Europe gathered to establish the foundational elements of the event. Discussions primarily focused on defining themes and subthemes for the congress, as well as outlining a preliminary program structure and setting essential deadlines. The meeting concluded with a clear commitment to thorough planning and execution of the congress.
The congress will take place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava.
