We would like to inform you that the release of the Book of Abstracts has been delayed due to an unresolved ethical issue regarding the authorship of one of the abstracts. Due to this issue, we are currently unable to finalize the Book of Abstracts and acquire its DOI. We are addressing the matter carefully…

At the congress venue, we offer the opportunity to showcase journals, publishers, or other offerings in the field of landscape ecology. Exhibition stands can be rented for 200 EUR (including VAT) per day. In case of interest, please contact the congress organizers at martina.zvarikova@uniba.sk .

We are greatly honored to announce the following news. As of May 5th, Msc. Juraj DROBA, MBA, MA, the Chairman of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region, has granted patronage to the IALE 2025 Congress. This patronage highlights the significance of the event and underscores the relevance of its central themes.

We are excited to announce that Prof. Naomi Millner has accepted to be the keynote speaker at our upcoming congress. We look forward to her inspiring presentation and valuable insights!

Geografický časopis (Geographical Journal) publishes original and timely scientific articles that advance knowledge in all the fields of geography and significant contributions from the related disciplines. 

Participants of the IALE Europe Congress 2025 will have the opportunity to publish their contributions in a Special Issue of the Journal of Landscape Ecology and in Ekológia (Bratislava).
